DANCING WITH THE JOB ANALYSIS
Wednesday March 30, 2016
American Osteopathic Association
Conducting a job, task, or practice analysis can be anything from hotly contested to downright boring and routine. Yet the job analysis forms the underpinnings of every certification. It produces the data for the domains and assessment. Join us for the opportunity to find out about the range of techniques, tools, processes, and methods used by the Chicago CNG members. Learn about their challenges and solutions. The session kicks off with an overview of the what, why, and how to do a job/task/practice analysis. Next, presented in as group-game using Dancing with the Stars style judges and opportunities to wins stars, the session will be all about the knowledge and experience of you and your peers at CNG.
Use the downloadable worksheet to think about 1 or 2 (or even 3) times when you were involved in job studies to define, validate, market, and revalidate your certification. Please print a copy of your completed worksheet to bring to the meeting. Your pre-work will give your team an advantage. Note: if you are unable to get the pre-planning worksheet contact Judy@tifpi.org.
