Roundtable hosts:
Marc Vanhasselt joined Prometric in 1994. In his current role as Vice President for Customer Experience and Accessibility he leads the efforts to ensure that Prometric’s products and services are best in class and are equally accessible to all candidates.
Throughout his tenure at Prometric Marc has also served as Prometric’s Vice President for Test Development Operations responsible for implementing Test Development solutions for new and existing clients, and as Vice President of Global Test Center Operations leading all test center operations and overseeing test-center staff management.
Marc has worked internationally extensively, establishing Prometric offices and test centers in Europe and Asia, as well as leading several projects including new client implementations.
Marc holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from Loyola University of Maryland and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota.
Clarence “Buck” Chaffee, the President of The Caviart Group, LLC, has more than 40 years of experience in producing high-stakes, international licensure and certification examinations for numerous medical, corporate management, financial management, design and technical professions. He directs the development of examinations that are administered in more than 160 countries and 17 languages around the world.
He has previously served as CEO of an international licensing and certification organization, published peer-reviewed articles on medical examinations, developed innovative test items (including patented medical simulations) and made numerous presentations at industry events and national testing conferences.
Mr. Chaffee is also a leading expert in the design and development of advanced item types including computer-based simulations, performance exams and items designed to assess high-level skills including professional judgment.
Ibidun Layi-Ojo is the Director of Examinations at CFP Board. Ibi is responsible for leading the design, development, and administration of the CFP® examination. Prior to CFP Board, she worked at Prometric as an Assessment Technology Portfolio Director, providing test development and program management consulting services to credentialing organizations globally.
Over the course of her 12-year career in credentialing, she championed best practices in high stakes testing, managed the development of large-scale assessments, conducted practice analyses, psychometric evaluation of credentialing programs, accreditation consulting, examination development, and standard setting for numerous organizations in the health, IT, and financial sectors. She is experienced in a variety of assessment formats including knowledge-based examinations with standard/alternative item types, performance-based examinations as well as assessment applications outside of credentialing including career development.
Ibi is the Vice Chair of the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (I.C.E.)’s Accreditation Services Council (ASC) and a member of the Washington DC program committee of the Certification Network Group (CNG). She received her M.S. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Baltimore, and M.S. in Measurement, Statistics and Evaluation (Psychometrics) from the University of Maryland. Ibi is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), and an I.C.E. Certified Credentialing Professional (ICE-CCP).
Bill West is a senior market leader and 25+ year veteran of the assessment industry. Currently Chief
Credentialing Solutions Officer at Cornerstone Strategies, Bill has successfully served in a variety of operational and sales capacities for test administration and credential management organizations as well as an NCCA-accredited non-profit credentialing association. Roles have included customer service, program management, business development. operations, and strategy. In these roles, Bill launched and managed numerous national and global assessment programs, assisted clients with expanding their businesses, implemented strategic partnerships, and developed new markets.
An active contributor to industry associations, conferences and committees, Bill served on the board of directors for the Association of Test Publishers (ATP) and currently serves on two boards: the Certification Network Group (CNG) and the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE), owner of the NCCA accreditation standard.
Kyana Beckles is a social entrepreneur; the Founder of Leverage Assessments, a job testing company, specializing in credentialing development, maintenance and administration for Associations.
Kyana holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and got her start in testing supporting the development of Promotional Exams for Police Departments.
Kyana is an expert on credentialing, certification development, accreditation, diversity, remote proctoring, new certifications and professional development support for Industry Groups and Associations.

Parking in the Alexander Court North garage is available Monday-Friday for a daily rate $22 or $12 for the first hour on the L Street side of the building (use this address for your GPS: 2000 L St NW, 3rd Floor North, Washington, DC 20036). There are two garages on either side of L Street that look similar – I.C.E.’s is on the right (it is a one-way street). Note that street parking is more readily available early in the morning.
The closest metro stations are Dupont Circle (red line), and Farragut West (blue, orange, silver)
Attendees will take the stairs or elevators up to the mezzanine level, pass through the turnstiles, and take the elevator up to floor 3. There will be an I.C.E. staff member greeting you on the mezzanine level, who can provide assistance)
