She serves as Chief Learning Officer for CASBO. Dr. Petrillo was awarded the highest national honor for staff, the ASAE Professional Performance Award and is a past Certified Association Executive (CAE) Commission Chair who speaks nationally on learning innovations and educational technologies to nonprofit, medical, corporate, and education audiences; and advises on educational strategy planning to create actionable initiatives. She earned a doctorate in educational leadership and management with a specialization in human resource development. She is a pioneer in digital badging. She designs and implements micro-credential programs that drive competency-based education and non-dues revenue. Dr. Petrillo also conducts credential value research within professional associations.
