Description:

Data forensics provide valuable evidence about how organizations protect their competency exams—but when should certification programs take action? This panel session explores the statistical and practical triggers that prompt deeper investigation and how they distinguish between abnormal and normal variation. Using a case study, panelists will discuss both organizational and vendor perspectives to demonstrate how psychometric data, SME judgment, and sound governance work together to support fair, valid, and defensible certification examinations. Attendees will gain practical insights to protect exam integrity and strengthen defensible, data-informed decision-making.

We'll open with a panel session featuring two association leaders presenting case studies on managing psychometric analyses, followed by a facilitated discussion with the audience on oversight and implementation details.
